Rack and pinion system

To facilitate the integration of our DL motors into a mobile pool deck, UNICUM can supply the additional components needed for a successful installation: pinion and rack.

The rack is supplied in unit modules of around one meter in length, and is already fitted with the brackets and holes required for fixing to the mobile terrace.

This is a self-lubricating, reinforced polyamide rack with a steel core that enables it to accept a linear thrust of up to 200 kg.

The associated sprocket can be supplied in stainless steel or galvanized steel, and achieves a linear speed of between 2 and 3 m/min, depending on the motorization chosen and the weight of the terrace.

The choice of materials makes it possible to completely eliminate the problem of lubrication; this advantage is particularly important in the pool environment, where grease and oil could compromise the cleanliness of the water and the finishing materials around the pool.
