Not only is it winning over more and more private customers with its modern aesthetics and intelligent design, allowing space to be used when the pool is closed, it also offers users all the advantages of other cover solutions, such as safety, pool cleanliness and water and heat savings.
With its metal structure, and depending on the choice of finishing materials from a wide range of options, the sliding pool deck can become very heavy and require powerful motorization.
UNICUM offers three solutions for the drive of movable decks, adapted to different requirements.
ABRIMot SD: the all-in-one driving system
ABRIMOT SD is the “all-in-one” motorization system perfectly suited to mobile decks weighing up to a ton. Its battery- and solar-powered design and ease of installation mean it can be used for both new decks and retrofits to existing ones. The Uni Pool Easy Control application and its 4-channel remote control enable users to program 1, 2 or 4-motor configurations in just a few clicks.
ABRIMot: tubular double-sided
ABRIMOT is an elegant drive solution for mobile terrace manufacturers. This tubular gearmotor with two output shafts integrates perfectly beneath the cover, making it totally invisible. Only the solar panel that recharges the batteries reveals its presence. Although less easy to integrate than ABRIMOT SD, it enables manufacturers to offer their customers a highly aesthetic solution.
DL Series + Rack and pinion: for the most massive decks
When the mass of the mobile terrace becomes too great, the solution is based on a rack-and-pinion drive. The heart of the solution is a DL-type motor with high rotation speed, combined with a pinion mounted on its output shaft. This pinion transmits the motor’s power to the terrace via a plastic rack with a metal core, which can withstand thrusts of up to 200kg.
In this case, the DL motor is controlled by a UNIBOX control unit with special software that not only programs the limit switches, but also activates advanced functions such as obstacle stop.
